Running A Genetic Algorithm On A Playstation
My fellow countryman Christian Perone has run, on a Playstation PSP, a genetic algorithm coded in Python.
It's another computer platform conquest genetic algorithms have made. From old school mainframes computers to portable devices, genetic algorithms seem to know no boundaries. What about cell phones? Have genetic algorithms been run on them too? Does someone out there know any story to tell us upon it?

Thanks for the reply Marcelo =) It'll be interesting to see GAs on cellphones.
We actually did distributed GAs on cellphones, communicating using bluetooth. Paper has been submitted, and we should get the answer any day now.
PSP is cool, anyways. Anybody has done it for the Wii?
Hi, Guys! :)
Perone, you are always welcome here at Genetic Argonaut and it'll be an amusement sharing your posts and/or pointing to them. Maybe, your work would be worth of publication and I encourage you to publish it, even in Portuguese, since there are lots of Brazilian IA related events this year.
JJ, it's amazing! I have seen nothing similar so far and I think you should have said some words on it at your blog, mainly because it also applies distributed computing techniques and wireless technology, what makes your work even more valuable to be heard of. What cellphone model did your group use?
I am not aware of any GA simulations run on a Wii, only on Playstation 2 and 3 clusters -- and, now, on a PSP.
